6th Annual Feed the Minds of Youth

Wednesday, November 4, 2009, the first Wednesday of November, is designated nationally as "Take Our Kids to Work" day by The Learning Partnership. In support of grade nine students participating in the workplace with their parent or guardian, the Insurance Institute hosts Feed the Minds of Youth events at local Institutes and Chapter offices. 

Industry organizations are encouraged to participate if you have grade nine students in the workplace on November 4th. Here are a few options:  

1. You could register to bring your grade nine students and parents to a local Institute or Chapter office for a free lunch;

2. You could host a lunch at your premises and engage your company's ambassadors to facilitate;

3. You can order your free Feed the Minds of Youth Event-in-a-box kit that will help you facilitate your own event and make it a rewarding day for the grade nine students.

This event has been a great success in the past, and one which many companies look forward to participating in each year.
