Law

The Law section of Risk Responsibility Reality focuses on the legal implications of a student's risky behaviour, providing actual cases to back up humorous vignettes. This section deals with civil law - torts and contract - as well as aspects of the criminal justice system where they apply. Useful as an introduction to the commonly taught legal concepts in the high school curriculum, the activities are also valuable as summative evaluations at the end of a unit. By bringing in recent law cases, we can demonstrate how these concepts apply to real people in Canada.
