Insurance Careers Month

What’s HEATING UP this February? Insurance Careers and Education Pathways!

Once again, Career Connections will be joining in what is now a global initiative of marking February as Insurance Careers Month. This is a great vehicle to amplify our messaging and engagement with our core audiences about the rewarding careers available in the property & casualty insurance industry! Of course, conversations about career paths tie in nicely to those about education. February is also the Insurance Institute’s National Education Month with a focus on 2018 on-boarding and early career!

Things kick off on February 1st with Career Planning with mycareer - 5 tools to help you plan your career in insurance. This national webinar, which is FREE to members of the Insurance Institute, will feature available tools to help you gain clarity about their short and long term career goals and figure out how best to develop your career pathing strategy.

Helping to make insurance careers and education a hot topic this February is The Institute’s meme competition where insurance professionals have the chance to create and submit a meme that describes the business, education or professionalism in our industry. Winning entries and honourable mentions will be shared on the Institute’s social media channels. Career Connections is also inviting our industry Ambassadors to answer the question – “Why Insurance?” Their thought provoking answers will be shared on our Facebook Page and Twitter Feed throughout #InsuranceCareerMonth!
