Career Connections Recognized

Each year, Career Connections sets out to expose students and career seekers to the rewarding world of careers in insurance. While we engage tens of thousands of elementary and high school students and take part in community based career events, a significant portion of our campaign season is targeted to post-secondary students on campuses across the country ( 80,000+ post-secondary students reached annually at over 100+ events) .

We pride ourselves on our extensive outreach efforts  and commitment to evolving our campus strategy to best meet the needs of students and our industry employer partners.

This year those efforts have been recognized with two awards! We are excited to share that Career Connections has received the Excellence in Innovation – Campus Recruitment Strategy & Employer Branding award from the Canadian Association for Career Educators and Employers (CACEE).The award recognizes “the high degree of creativity, student engagement and impact in the building of [your] brand on campus."

In addition, our very own Trevor Buttrum, (Career Connections Manager) has also won TalentEgg.ca’s Campus Recruiter of the Year award. TalentEgg is a Canadian job site for students and new grads. This award is especially eggciting because the finalists and winner are chosen directly by a panel of 200+ post-secondary students nation-wide.
