The Insurance Institute is the industry’s source for professional development. Once you are in the industry, you will be encouraged to earn certifications and designations such as GIE, CIP, CRM, and FCIP.

Industry Association Education & Accreditation

Canadian industry associations offer professional development programs and award designations to those who successfully complete them. Examples include programs in actuarial sciences, adjusting, broking, and risk management.
