The Insurance Institute of Canada is a not-for-profit organization, established in 1899, that supports professional education and development in Canada’s property and casualty insurance industry.

Through its programs, the Insurance Institute of Canada helps insurance professionals build their knowledge, strengthen their skills and grow in their careers. Its recognized designations include the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) and Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP).

Insurance Career Connections is a division of the Insurance Institute of Canada. It helps students, recent graduates, newcomers, career changers and career seekers learn about career opportunities in insurance and discover where they may fit in the industry.
